We suggest materials and options to keep to your budget, and we're happy to tweak the design until it's right.
We turn up when we say we will, protect your carpets, and keep the place clean and tidy while we work.

August 2026, Lincolnshire
Shaker doors, tongue and groove details, cockbeaded face frames and an oak bench top all come together in this boot room, finished off in ‘Thunderbolt’ eggshell by Valspar. All the sheet materials came from Stellafoam Ltd, and the decorating was done by Vicky Jaspal.
July 2026
Warm LED lighting, oak acoustic panelling, Lissa Oak internals and shaker doors, finished in Dulux Willow Tree, with Vicky on the decorating.
We kept our customers in the loop on how it would look well before we started, and made sure it came out just the way they wanted it.
October 2025, Hitchin
Small but perfectly formed: solid oak shaker doors and drawer fronts, 19mm oak veneer internals, dovetail drawers and 70x70mm oak newel posts, all finished in Rubio Monocoat ‘Dark Roast’ for a rich, timeless look. We really enjoyed designing and building this one, and we’re keen to take on more like it.
July 2025, Letchworth
What started as an unused corner of the kitchen became a walk-in pantry and fridge freezer housing, inspired by Humphrey Munson: Witney Green and Halesworth Oak units from Howdens, oak dovetail drawers, solid oak shelf supports, bespoke tall wine racks, 26mm oak-veneered shelves, white calcutta quartz tops and warm under-cabinet lighting.
January 2025, Letchworth
This one was Josh’s own house renovation. The old lounge was converted and the kitchen relocated to the rear of the house to make a much larger kitchen-diner. We took down the old lath and plaster ceiling, opened up the chimney breast and laid herringbone flooring throughout. The units are DIY Kitchens’ Helmsley In-frame shaker range in heritage green, with 30mm Bianco Carrara worktops from GMQ Stone.

JRB Carpentry & Joinery is Josh Brunsdon. Josh designs, builds and fits the joinery, from under-stairs storage and boot rooms to media walls, kitchens and oak floors, and Vicky Jaspal decorates many of the finished pieces.
Our sheet materials come from suppliers including Suffolk Timber Supplies and Stellafoam, and pieces are decorated by Vicky or by decorators such as Caley Decor.
Our base is in Blaxhall, near Woodbridge. Recent jobs have taken us around Woodbridge and Felixstowe, and further afield to Hitchin, Letchworth and Lincolnshire.
